Fuck!

I was convinced that I would manage to send an email EVERY day in 2024.

23 days.

If you were a betting man, it wouldn’t shock me if that was the line that was set.

The truth is, I can’t even remember why I didn’t send an email?

Maybe it was due to streaming?

I remember the next day thinking, don’t let it become two days in a row.

Then it became three…. four…. five….

FUCK!

This is the pattern of my life.

ALL-IN or NOTHING!

These emails are reminders to myself and not you when I preach about consistency.

Human brains are fascinating.

How can it be so difficult for behaviours to stick?

I brush my teeth every day - no problem!

There’s time for me to walk and get my coffee with the family every day - no problem!

Send out an email of my daily thoughts? BIG PROBLEM!

They are admittably quite different tasks.

Brushing your teeth requires very little effort or energy.

These emails force me to think and delve more deeply into the creative side of my brain.

I mostly write them for myself but I don’t want to fill up your inbox for the sake of it.

The important thing is the (almost) Daily Emails are back.

In other news, we’ve moved our streaming set up downstairs, to where I host the Heads-Up Podcasts.

It’s a beautiful room.

The move should have been made sooner.

It’s giving me a lease of life and an excitement to stream.

There were too many moments where I had to whisper when I’m live in recent times.

Whispering is not the mode you want to be in for streaming.

It drained my energy.

Viewers will pick up on that and not want to stick around.
