Superpower Hidden Inside!!!

The Upper Hand #16

Writing in a journal is a superpower.

I know there will be eyerolls and you’ll expect me to push Ice Baths, Yoga, Breathing exercises and Meditation next!

These holistic methods have their place but I’m convinced that scribbling down a few words on paper EVERY day is desperately underrated.

When my life is going well, I’m journalling and not drinking alcohol.

Give it a shot.

Whatever you want to achieve, commit to it on paper.

Write the steps required.

If you’re unsure what you need to do, look it up, the Internet has an answer for everything.

You most likely know what you need to do.

Break it down into daily goals.

At the end of each day, write down how you’re feeling and whether you hit your goals or not.

Do it EVERY day.

If you continously miss the goals, you only like the idea of the goals you’ve set yourself.

You don’t actually want to do it.

I’d love to be the best Poker Player in the world or a Chess Grandmaster but I know deep down I’d never get close to putting in the required effort, therefore it’s not my goal!

If you find that life is too busy and you’re short on time, start writing down your screen time too.

It’ll depress you.

The average person is hitting 6 hours per day.

That’s 91 days per year.

Or about 30% of our waking hours.

If there’s a goal you’ve been putting off, that eats at you every day, start and journal about it.

It’s shocking what you can achieve.

Bye for now, you BEAUITUL fucks!
